Isaiah 54:17
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL: 20th March, 2016 (Divine Protection)
The end time is a perilous time. Various kinds of weapons of diverse potency are relentlessly targeted at God’s people by the concave of hell. Baseless rumors, and discrediting allegations, coupled with demonic offensives are rising against the camp of the truth on daily basis. But God’s standard is ever out there to bail out the righteous; more so, the propagators of the gospel. The grace is the reason if any one escapes the wickedness of this end time. The devil is crazy about carrying out his agenda of stealing, killing and destroying. Glory to God for Jesus Christ who has come to destroy all the works of Satan. The Son’s mission is to give us life more abundantly. Dwelling in the secret place of God is abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. Divine protection is a need of all the Kingdom children. The good news is that this Mighty Tower of security is available to all who run into Jesus for their safety. I pray: You shall not be inflicted with any affliction. The blood of Jesus shall shield you from this end time chaotic situations. In the name of Jesus. Shalom. Amen.

Peter 2:12
…. they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

TODAY;S DEVOTIONAL 14th March, 2016 (Divine Visitation)
There is sure appropriate time for all events on earth; so also there is individual time we call the time of visitation. This is the slated time for divine remembrance and encounter. This is also a remarkable time of turn-around; a time of divine intervention. It is evident in the Bible that there is at least a time of reckoning and recompence in every man’s life; the time of account rendering. It is worthy of note that all saints and sinners will experience some touch of visitation. Abraham was divinely visited and his long promised Isaac came. As well Joseph, Peter, Paul, Silas and Israel were at different times visited for deliverance. Hannah was visited for fruitfulness at a Shiloh encounter. On the other hand, ungodly kings Nebuchadnezzar, Herod, Sennacherib, Saul and Pharaoh; Korah & co; Judas Iscariot; etc were negatively visited for rewards too. I pray you will be visited for good at the right time. May you recognize you appointed day of encounter. Mercy and favour will speak for you on such day. May your visitation be graceful and pleasant. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Psalm: 89. 34.
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL 13th March, 2016 (Covenant Keeping God)
Covenant is a sealed pact, strong  agreement, established understanding, or passionate corporate-alliance binding between or among parties involved. The covenant we are looking into here is the divine kind; it connotes committed mutual-cooperation between God and man. Believing in the Word of God is great; making it a living standard is better; and standing upon it for manifestation is the product of divine covenants. The Almighty God is a covenant keeping God. His word is the last-say on any issue at every place. If He has said it, that alone settles it, if we dare to trust Him. His word is His integrity, powered principle, and everlasting authority that cannot fail. God’s word is Jesus  Christ. His blood is the grace that heralded the new testament. The sacrifice at Calvary was the new foundation of God/Man covenanted reunion and relationship. The Holy Spirit is the seal of life enforcing covenant. Therefore, adherence to covenant leadings is the evidence of kingdom indwelling. I pray for you today: You’ll not stray out of the divine covenant-coverings. Your loyalty to God shall not wane. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

1 Samuel: 15. 17. And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL 11th March, 2016 (Humility Enthrones)
It is not a  controversial issue to say: humility is not humiliation. Rather, it is a graceful attitude of reverence. Humility is the direct opposite of arrogance. Your appreciation and respect for others is not a trait of weakness or lack of esteem. Meekness is the super highway to a glorious lifting and victorious living. God respects the humble and hates the haughty. Humility is the mother of divine promotion. Nebuchadnezzar and Pharaoh were examples of the (Turkey & Peacock like) order of arrogance. Don’t tell me you don’t know how they both ended. Whereas, Moses, Paul and our Lord Jesus were closely identified with humility, yet they were greatly endowed, highly esteemed and endlessly promoted. David was humble; that led to his enthronement. Job and Ruth were humble till their  restorations. However, Satan became an outcast, and forever condemned as a result of high-mindedness and  rebellion. I pray for you today: Moses’ order of meekness will lift you; and you will rule and reign your world. Humility will exempt you from destruction. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Galatians: 6. 7.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL 10th March, 2016. (Seedtime & Harvest)
As long as the earth remains; seedtime and harvest are universally established twin laws. Everyone living is a ‘farmer’; daily committed to planting actions, reactions and inactions. All daily ventures of omission and commission are seeds which will germinate, and whose fruits shall manifest in a multiplied same kind. This  cumulative effect determines a man’s  future turnout.   Therefore it is wise for every man to be mindful of daily discharge and involvement.  Today was made by yesterday’s cultivation; and tomorrow will be  made by today’s activities. So today is the foundation of tomorrow.  Invariably, every man is the architect of his own future and fortune. I agree with Apostle K. C. Price on this: “If you succeed it is your fault; if you fail it is your fault”. Your activities ‘now’ is the porter that will mold your ‘then’. Every man’s future is like a programmed computer – Junks in junks out. You can’t feed on rice and vomit beans. Never. Therefore, success and failures are products of the past investments and squandering of endowment, talent, grace, time, money, focus, relationship, energy, etc. Trading blame is a most pronounced attribute of irresponsibility. Missing it yesterday is not an excuse; only advise your self to be committed as from today. A new beginning is a graceful possibility for a fulfilled destiny. 20 years ago was the best time to plant a tree.  10 years ago was a better time for it. Today is another chance, a good time to do it. I pray you will no more misuse opportunities. You will henceforth go headlong for your life purpose. You will not miss godly visions. May you become an investor of good seeds. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

James: 4. 4.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL 9th March, 2016 (Who Are Your friends?)
A friend is a well wisher. That is, somebody or something you are comfortable with. A possible confidant. As well, a friend is an affiliate; the one you are agreeing with on major issues. I believe you would support my saying that ‘friendship is by choice and not by force. So, you are responsible for whoever has access to you. And you should know that those who accompany you is a great determinant of  what accompanies your life. God only knows how many destinies have been truncated by wrong gang up, and bad associates. Friends like Jonathan can help a David like you to survive. Bad companions may either thwart one’s godly focus or discredit godly values. Everyone shares, directly or indirectly, the identity traits of pals. Friends have such great influence on man’s actions and inactions. A donkey who is an ally of  dogs may eventually eat dung. Conclusively, friends may be a  potential danger or lifter. Of course, birds of the same feather flock together. Abraham was attested a friend of God. Now, this is my question: Who are your friends? Or rather, who are your associates? The decision is yours.  I pray these for you: May God be your established friend. May you embrace holiness and uprightness. May you be comfortable with all godly attributes. May your connections with Satan and the concave of darkness be severed. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Psalm: 118. 8.
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL 8th March, 2016 (Misguided Confidence)
Confidence is a state of self assurance. It is the free flow of bold and strong belief in one’s self, course  and passion. Confidence is a manifestation of individual esteem. A confident may not necessarily be a garrulous man. He may only be a well principled man. But when a man of confidence becomes all wise, full of himself,  uncontrollable, uncorrectable, arrogant, haughty, self-centered, egocentric, self made, all knowing; then such  confidence has definitely  degenerated and  metamorphosed into selfish type; full of pride. This negative side of confidence does not have any establishment in God. Its not by power nor by might; rather it is by the Spirit of God. No successful man is not a helped man in the first place. I pray: May you not loose confidence. Your focus on God shall not shift. May you not pursue wrong values. The rewards of confidence shall not elude you. Fear will not overtake you. You’ll realise destiny in grand style. You’ll not be be timid or be  intimidated. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Luke: 11. 2.
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL 7th March, 2016 (Rudiments of Prayer)
Prayer is an appeal to a higher authority or to God for some intervention that may influence situation to ones favour. Effectual prayer works on principles. Hence Jesus thought His disciples the ‘Modus Operandi’ of acceptable prayers. Redemption is necessary if God will take (heavenly) fatherhood position in a man’s life. And you know, responsible fathers don’t deny their children. Reverence God’s name is a scriptural injunction. The kingdom and the will of God are the inevitable divine presence. The name of Jesus is the access pin to answered prayer. Fasting is a fortification value that aids deliverance. Holiness is the enabling environment and pleasant atmosphere. Fervency is the signal of seriousness.  To avoid praying amiss, the scripture is the authority and the infallible guide. Agreement in prayer with other saints empowers prayer for greater efficacy. No restrictions about the place, the hour, the frequency, the lengthiness, and the subject of prayer. I admonish you pproach the issue of prayer with graceful understanding. These are my prayers: May God answer your call in day of trouble. May divine intervention locate you quickly when you pray. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Psalm: 18. 17.
He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL 6th March, 2016 (Enemy’s Doom)
An enemy is such an entity that contends with one. Enemy may as well be described as an adversary or foe; or someone who is simply not a friend. Satan and his cohorts are the chief adversaries; they have human agents though. The common qualifications of enemies are: Hatred, Affliction, Unfriendly, curses, Bitterness, Conspiracy, Fighting, Treacherous Devices, Progress Impediments, etc. An enemy you don’t engage in battle will harass and may  prevail; so you need to fight. But this battle is essentially spiritual. The effectual weapon is therefore not conventional; rather unleash the heavenly spiritual arsenal. Study the lives of David, Mordecai, Joseph, Daniel, Moses, Kings Jehoshaphat and Hezekiah; for a better understanding of how confrontation and challenges can be decisively defeated by the Almighty God. There are several  evidences that establish the truth that the Lord still fight for His own people and deliver them. So, be calm and see God as a ‘Man Of War’. I pray these: The Lord will fight for you. Enemy’s weapons shall not stand; and no siege shall  prevail against you. You shall triumph over all foes. I declare all your enemies  incapacitated and vanquished. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
