CAPTION: Divine Supplies

CAPTION: Philippians 4:19 (KJV) “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”

It is only the availability of the appropriate and adequate supplies that can pacify the need of any kind. A man whose supply line is cut off is in real trouble. There is no man without some passionate needs; but there are several men with gross inadequate supplies. Need is the reason we all work and travail in one way or the other. The crave for supply is in place so man can embrace pursuits. As well, established need is the mother of universal interdependencies. Without needs, relationship of any kind will not be necessary. For where one is weak, another is very strong. Relying on divine providence and intervention will be a waste of time if man doesn’t suffer one deficiency or the other. Without needs, humans will have no aspirations; no mountain to conquer; no success to crave for; no willful desires to satisfy; no obligations to run; no prayers to make; no expectations workout; no fulfillment and success stories; no testimony; etc. The needs that surround man are the great opportunities bequeathed upon humanity for longing for betterment. Therefore, making it is all about meeting needs. Recognizing needs is the chance for creating rewarding solutions. Problems make life so dynamic and interesting. Challenges are real blessings in disguise. You need money, recognition and fame? Good! Just look for some problems to solve. All you need to meet your needs is meeting the needs of others. Work for your needs, you will see your needs working for you. God’s scriptural principles are all you need to imbibe in order to have your needs met. (Psalms 121:1) “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help”. However, human needs can never be exhausted. One supply will originate another greater need. So, do not worry about needs, so you don’t live all you days in sorrowful anxiety. Needs are real; but divine supplies are real too. God fed Prophet Elijah and the Zarephat widow throughout the famine period. God used the Shunamite couple to meet Elisha’s needs. Nehemiah got all he needed to rebuild Jerusalem from that king. You too can have all your material, economic, physical, spiritual, health, housing, matrimonial, mental, monetary, etc, needs met miraculously. Hear what to do in (Matthew 7:7) “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you”. So, help yourself by asking God to locate you like Abraham with all your needs. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

CAPTION: God – The Man Of War

WORD CREDENCE: Psalms 35:1 (KJV) “Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me”

Many wrongly perceive God as a weakling. They can only see a God that used to do marvelously win for His people in the Bible time, but cannot continue in this contemporary world. They fail to understand that the exhibition of God’s potency is directly tied to their own faith. There are several authentic divine intervention confirming the truth that our God is the Lord God of hosts. When God is involed, the victory is decided for His people. That’s the reason we can say we are more than the conquerors, because of His love. More so the reason He has created us fearfully and wonderfully. It’s impossible for God to lose any battle. Hear (Exodus 15:3) “The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name”. Power, Grace, Resilience, Anointing, Prayers, Praises, Testimony, Wisdom, Blood of Jesus, are the essential demands of victory. Inexplicable turn of table against adverssaries are experienced when the Lord is taking side with His own. David overcame king Saul by divine backup. Moses subdued Pharaoh by miracles. Jehoshaphat recorded victory by obvious God’s involvement. Hezekiah was victorious over Senacherib by angelic ministry. Godly help must be committed if victory must be ascertained. It is pertinent to know that life is a challenge; and the world is a battlefield. No matter how fierce the opposition is; with God triumph is possible. The Lord’s side is the winning side. This battle is essentially spiritual battle, for we need not engage the flesh. Therefore, the effectual weapons should address the spiritual undertones of antagonism. Listen to (2 Corinthians 10:4-5) “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”. Take on the whole armor of God. Let God fight your battle. You shall soon testify to the great deeds of God. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

CAPTION: Confess Your God

WORD CREDENCE: Matthew 10:32 (KJV) “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven”

Confession in this edifying writeup means acknowledging and showcasing. This connotes taking a clear stand for one worthy connection among several options. After all no one can serve two masters. It is a choice of convictions in the glare of public watch. Therefore, serving God begins with identifying with Him openly in all places and in every situation. Denying God because of ridicle, dangers, lucre, opinions, etc, is dissociative. Affiliation with God is best done in difficult time and places, rather than only in the comfortable periods and zone. Worshipping God is expected to be equally strong in both secrets of the heart, and in the public squares and congregations. Christians should confess Jesus everywhere they find themselves; like workplace, marketplace, neighborhood, prisoners, palace, internet, clubs, pubs, parties, streets, stickers, etc. Carrying the Bible publicly; Commitment at church; Pious conversations; Positive declarations based on faith; Standing for justice; Eschewing sins; Preaching the gospel; Calling the name of Jesus often; are some ways one can carry up the plag of Jesus Christ before men without shame or embarrassment. Among others, it is lively to confess one’s sin to one another and make restitution. Confession of wrongdoings to God is as well great. Hear this in (Proverbs 28:13) “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy”. Until you recognize God, heavenly spotlights will be a mirage. Another confident public association with Jesus is through testimonies. Testify publicly with strong vehemence to the faithfulness of the word of God; The miraculous deeds of God; Divine helpful interventions; Answered prayers; The existence the Almighty living Deity; The goodness of the Lord; The propitious death of Jesus Christ for our salvation; The grace of the anointing upon an anointed Man of God; More so, confess the truth that Jesus is Lord; etc. The scriptures believed must be confessed if it must deliver. Salvation hinges on confession. Listen to (Romans 10:10) “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. Confess your love for Jesus. Confess and declare your beliefs to all and sundry. As you confess anything with Bible Standard in in faith view; the angels are committed to obey as a command. So, I implore you to use your tongue very wisely. Confession brings possessions. Do not deny God like Peter; rather confess God like like Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego. . Associate with Jesus in the presence of all men. May God reshape your confession to align with His graceful and purposeful purposes for your life. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

QUOTABLE QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
‘Our primary problem is not light, but sight. Light is of no value to a blind man. Reading books galore on the subject will not reveal the angels unless our eyes are touched by faith.’ – Vance Havner
(Curled from Billy Grahams book: ‘Angels – God’s Secret Agents’)

MY ADMONITION:
Many people look, only very few see. Scales have to fall out, and blockade has to be removed before insight could be established. I admonish you engage serious faith induced prayer on the opening of spiritual sight. Like Abraham, it is as far as we can see that we can possess. Spiritual blindness is worse than the lost of the physical sight. May God empower our eyes to behold secrets. See (Psalms 25:14) “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant”. May the fear of the Lord abode in you for His grace of insight to abide with you. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

CAPTION: Personal Willingness

WORD CREDENCE: Isaiah 1:19 (KJV) “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land”

Willingness is a responsible, thoughtful disposition that is encouraged by voluntary decisions. Meanwhile, it is worthy of note that man is a free morale agent that is capable of exhibiting will-power. He is willing when his mind is made up to do something he had considered appropriate. So, willingness means yielding without coercion, lobby or influences. It is a voluntary forge-ahead as occation or rules demand. How many are being conditioned to abide and belong these days without their minds supporting. Whatsoever is done willingly is done with keen enthusiastic pursuits. Even in giving and offerings; it must be willing for it to be divinely acceptable. Hear Apostle Paul in (2 Corinthians 9:7) “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver”. It is however universally noted the everyone happily does whatever he believes in with deep convictions. A man’s willingness is tested by the direction of his interest. Now, willingness has to work along with obedience for one to enjoy the largesse of his locality and dwelling land. Reluctance, delays, noncommittal and complaints are signs of unwillingness. Whereas, willingness is prompt, cheerful and resilient. Tiredness is regardless, when a man is decisively willing. God has given man the free hand to make up his mind; even in the choice of companions and worship. Listen to a demonstration of the the willingness of Joshua’s household here in (Joshua 24:15) “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD”. Forming opinion, and exercising one’s own will is a global right; if it is based on truth; and isn’t libelous others. Let your will tally with divine standard. Surrender your will to God like our Lord Jesus Christ in (Matthew 26:39) “And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. May your will be in harmony and alliance with God’s purpose. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

CAPTION: Eschew Poverty

WORD CREDENCE: Proverbs 10:15 (KJV) “The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty”

Povert is a destructive, abysmal state of lack and penury. It is a condition of unmet needs, inadequacy and insufficiency. When income cannot capture basic expenditures, poverty is inevitable. This low ebb is better described than continually experienced. However, we need to get one thing clear: Poverty cannot take anyone to heaven; neither can riches take anyone to hell. Above all, it is the will of God for His saints to prosper and be in health (3 John 2) Nothing is glorifying or edifying about poverty. A poor man is without dignity and defense. He is susceptible to vices, debts, begin, shame, unhappiness, malnutrition, shabby, low esteem, mouthless, etc. No poor man is accorded respect or recognition. There are chances he falls short of his destiny yardstick. Poverty is a curse to be rejected with all vehemence. The scriptural way to escape poverty are: 1. Hardworking 2. Respecting Covenant Demands Like Giving, Tithing, etc 3. Engaging One’s Gifts 4. Committing The Grace 5. Sensitivity To Divine Directions Of Timing, Location, Missions and Knowhow 6. Wisdom 7. Promises Claim 7. Revelation. Listen to (Proverbs 24:33-34) “Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man”. Our God is obviously the epitome of riches. His heaven was paved with gold. Our Lord Jesus Christ had money bag and treasurer. The friend of God – Abraham; his so – Isaac, and grandson – Jacob were wealthy; yet God spoke clearly that He is their God forever. David was a man after God’s own heart; he was not a poor king. God gave Solimon the grace to be extremely prosperous. Of course, money is the wheel for the progress of the gospel. It is the answer to all things. No celebrations without substance. No decorations without treasures. No family or friend is comfortable with a poverty stricken fella. He who cannot care for his household is worse than an infidel. More so, life is designed by God to be enjoyed, and not to be endured. Sufferings are prominently embedded in poverty. Nontheless, observation proves that affluent communities are often better organised, and more peaceful and healthy than the ghettos. Progress is slowed or stalled where the means is scarce. The poor shall always serve the rich, for peanuts, for the rich to get richer. Riches are not associated with vanity all the time; rather it is an authentic need to have all your sure needs met. Crave to escape the survival level my friend. Cry this scripture to the owner of silver and gold: (Psalms 86:1) Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy. The Lord God who did it for Jabez and Obededom shall locate you now. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

CAPTION: Divine Wisdom

WORD CREDENCE: Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding”

Dr. David O. Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church fame once defined wisdom as ‘knowing what to do, and doing it’. I put the meaning of wisdom this way: ‘Applying, the acquisitions of well understood knowledge’. Knowledge sans understanding cannot suffice. Failure to make use the solution know-how is nothing but foolishness. Wisdom is the mother of all blessings anyway. Solomon was the wisest; no wonder he was the richest of his time. Wisdom is a Spiritual gift that is enhanced by the Spirit of knowledge, and understanding. Meanwhile, wisdom is guided by planning. Failing to strategize is planning to fail. Brute forces are easily suppressed by Wisdom. Meanwhile, companionship is a facilitator of wisdom; the enhancers of life. Remember the parable of the Ten Virgins? Only the wise five of them got saved. This implies that wisdom cannot be alienated from salvation. However, choice of companions is very important in the issue of wisdom. Hear (Proverbs 13:20) “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed”. The parable of the Unfaithful Steward indicates how much wisdom is needed to get on in life, regardless the situation. Discerning, Revelations, Vision and Interpretation are the associates of Divine Wisdom that really helped people like Daniel, Joseph, Peter, Paul and even our Savior Jesus Christ. However, for Divine Wisdom to work, the Grace is a big factor. The Bible mentioned a wise poor man who saved his land from an oppressive bigger kingdom; and he was not remembered. This tells us that the Grace is like some salt, necessary for the good tastes of the cuisines of Wisdom. Mordecai saved the king; it was the grace of divine Providential Interventions that brought him recognition and handsome rewards. Wisdom is essential to peaceful living. Solomon had it; he didn’t have to battle. Even his adversaries were bringing him tributes. Fame, Family and Longevity too are accrued to wise vessels. I admonish you establish your inadequate wisdom before God, and ask for more of it fervently in prayers. See (Job 12:12) “With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding”. May the Spirit of Wisdom dwells in you. Amen.
